Starting a messy authentic blog

So…I’m starting a blog…and I’m doing it messy. My mentor suggests (as do many business coaches) ‘just do it’. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It can be messy. Messy is authentic.

There is even a writing sample in this blog that invites me to not overthink it. So I won’t.

Top of mind today is using my voice. Sharing my voice, my light, my authenticity. Why not? And if not now, when?

Having a business creates confidence. Even when you aren’t finding your ideal clients. It gives us information. And you go through the trials, the tests. You see what works and what doesn’t. That said, I am trying new things. As per usual.

I like to study new things, new topics.

Does it fit? Does it work? Do I share it?

Right now, I am going with the flow…flowing into blog territory. I’m not much of a writer and I’m ok with that. There are other ways to share a message. Maybe it’s a podcast. YouTube, book, social media, speaker…so many ways for you to shine your light.

That said, I also have a newsletter that doesn’t say much, lol…just a few invitations. And I started a podcast. It’s fun. Trying things out. What fits? What doesn’t?

Back to social media…I’ve decided to take a step back. I only check 3 days a week now. Why 3 days? I have a group where I post 3 days a week. That’s all. Not many people interact. I do. I have a podcast episode that just dropped…it’s about social media. I interviewed a techie, are they still called that or am I showing my age? Adam talks about how to be mindful with social media, whether you are the consumer or the originator. It’s an interesting conversation that went along a few different paths. Oh, btw, he’s also my husband, lol.

Here’s the link to the Prana & Possibilities episode!

Enjoy :)
